Steaming
Derived from ancient traditions, steaming offers a gentle and nurturing approach for women's well-being, focusing on the intimate and sacred space of the yoni, or the female pelvic bowl which carries our womb. Yoni Steaming, also known as vaginal or root steaming, involves sitting comfortably over a steaming bowl of carefully selected medicinal herbs. The steam gently rises, enveloping the root and surrounding pelvic area. This practice holds potential benefits, both physical and emotional.
By promoting relaxation and stimulating blood flow, steaming supports the body's natural detoxification process. The warm herbal steam is believed to cleanse and nourish the root of the pelvis, encouraging the release of stagnant energy and facilitating the removal of toxins. Many women report feeling a deep sense of purification and rejuvenation after a steaming session.
Beyond its physical benefits, steaming can have a profound impact on a woman's emotional well-being. The act of taking time for oneself, embracing self-care, and connecting with feminine energy can be empowering and deeply healing. Steaming sessions provide an opportunity for women to tune into their bodies, fostering self-love and acceptance.
After a comprehensive intake process, Christine creates a blend of herbs based on your intake. Herbs are selected with care based on the information received through your intake.
It's important to note that steaming is not a substitute for medical care. While this practice has been used for centuries and is generally safe, we always recommend consulting with a healthcare professional, especially for women with specific medical conditions or concerns.
If you're curious about incorporating steaming into your self-care routine or would like to experience a steam with your treatment, Christine is here to gently guide and support you.
A steam is indicated for many different reasons. Many choos a steam for post partum care (tonifying, reducing scar tissue from tear, episiotomy, hemorroids, rectal prolapse, fissures and fistulas), fertility support, treating fibroids or endometriosis, a desire to form a deeper and more intimate relationship your body, to support the balance the flora in the vagina and root or to release somatic tension in the root.
Steaming is not indicated during menstruation or pregnancy . We provide a comprehensive intake form to ensure your steam is customized for your well-being and care.
