Mother Blessing

Women’s Wellness > Mother Blessing

Honor the sacred transition to motherhood with a meaningful Mother Blessing ceremony, where love, wisdom, and support from kindred women infuse the mother with empowerment, intuition, and connection.

A Mother Blessing is a sacred ceremony that celebrates a woman’s transition into motherhood, whether for her first child or subsequent births. This spiritual gathering of close friends and family provides the mother with love, empowerment, and affirmation. Through rituals such as creating an altar, sharing songs, poetry, and stories, and performing spiritual baths, the ceremony strengthens the mother's intuition and trust in her body. This nourishing experience ensures she feels safe, supported, and spiritually connected as she prepares for labor and motherhood.

  • "For the birth of my second son, I wanted to honor the special time of pregnancy differently than my first baby shower. I reached out to Christine to help create a Mother Blessing ceremony that would celebrate the experience of motherhood and birthing through story-sharing, ritual, and music. Christine provided support creating the flow of the ceremony and the perfect space to host the event in her sanctuary overlooking Wappinger Falls. Her expert facilitation skills brought to life my vision of this special time with friends, and she even created a special tea with medicinal and spiritual components specifically for mothers that I could share with my sisters. I am deeply grateful to her for helping me mark this special time in such a meaningful way."
